A while back I remember seeing a lot of recommendations for an exhaust system manufacturer I'd never heard of, and it wasn't Allen's. I seem to recall that folks were saying that their stuff fit the best and was as close to NOS as you could get (short of original) but I can't remember the manufacturer's name. Anybody remember who it is? Thanks!

Re: C3 Exhaust pipes
I don't remember the thread. One way to check is to go to the Archives and search for exhaust system and set it for all words. Then try exhaust pipes and even exhaust Allen, as no doubt the thread on Allen's is probably what prompted the remarks of the othr place. It is a bit clumbersome, but you can usually find what you need. Good luck.- Top

Guessing...
...it might have been these people. I am not familiar with their products but had a peek when looking for mufflers for my 1967.

Re: Got it...and here's the scoop
I've tracked it down, made the call and talked to Tom Gardner of Gardner Exhaust.
They begin with old rusty original pipes to get it right and so continue to gather those pieces for the 63-72 models that are big block or high performance small blocks. Once they gather the pieces they build the template and test. Tom said they are a ways away from producing those and he wouldn't say a year.
Bottom line...they are not producing those pipes today and will limite production to Corvette muscle cars.
