74 urethane rear bumper

Does anyone know of a manufacturer of urethane rear bumpers for a 74. If there is more than one, who makes the best. Thanks.

As far as I know, the 1974-only rear bumper is not currently reproduced in urethane, as original. The closest that you can come is the "Flex-Fit" type bumper.

The L76-79 rear bumper, which can be used for 75-E76, is the only one that I know of that's reproduced in urethane.

Thanks Joe for that info'. Do you know what the best replacement bumper for the 74 is? Fibreglass, Tru-Flex, Flex-Fit etc etc and where to buy them from. Thanks again. Martin

I am not 100% sure..but i think eckelers sells a urethane bumper for that year..

I wouldn't be the best source for info on this since I've not used any of them and have no real experience with them. However, there was a very recent thread on this board regarding 74 bumpers. I think that it still may be in the active thread list (below).
