Signal Flasher ?

Hi all,

I have a 12 Volt Signal Stat 175 Flasher and would like to know it's application? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Criag - Steve identified one application but there are differences in the configurations for the various years. GM used the Signal-Stat 175 flasher for a good number of years. Specifically, one would expect the Signal-Stat 175 used in 67 production vehicles to have the green cover with the 175 and Signal Stat embossed on the top; and in 68 (don't kow exactly when) and into the early 70s the 175 would have the 175 and Signal Stat silk screened on the top of the cover and then later years would have the 175 and Signal Stat and DOT silk screened on the top of the cover. Since the 175 is a variable load flasher, all original applications would have been in the Hazard Warning lamp circuits. Pete
