    Need C2 Shock Repair/Rebuild Source

I have the original Shocks for my 1967 Convertible. I am looking for a source that can rebuild the internal parts. A couple of them are basically shot inside and leaking.Does anybody know of a reliable source that does this kind of work?

    Mark-----

I know of no source for rebuilding of mono-tube type shocks. This subject has come up many times previously and, as I recall, no one yet has come up with a source.

Mono-tube shocks are, of course, not designed to be rebuilt. If they were to be rebuilt and internal parts were required, the shock would have to be cut and, subsequent to repair, welded back together. That would, of course, represent a compromise to originality.

Mark, Franz Estericher may be able to have your original shocks rebuilt. He's on the board once in a while. fee44@comcast.net John
