I am not aware of the Timken Company makes a specific bearing for this application but in my experience they are currently the ONLY roller bearing worth using in any application.

I only use Timken bearings, myself. However, Delco bearings, most of which are now "Made in Japan", are a real quality piece. I've always been impressed with the quality of Japanese bearings. Plus, a lot of Timken bearings are now manufactured in "foreign" locales, Brazil being a common one.

No Corvette with ball bearing type wheel bearings (53-62) ever used brake ROTORS and no Corvette with ROTORS (65-82) ever used BALL BEARING-type wheel bearings"

I managed to read right past all this between the lines information, (discrepancy ), now I wonder what Peter is trying to do and what he has. I have no personal experience with the current production Delco bearings but obviously should check them out.

Thanks for picking up on what I missed, need to quit doing this at night
