Rearend ratio discs on 57-62 Vettes/57-64 cars

I'm not on here much anymore, but there is one thing I would like to see someone within NCRS exercise their influence with the vendors who sell repo parts.
ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the vendors, whether they be Vette or 55-64 passenger car vendors, have an error in their catalogs.
Most of them sell the repo ratio discs that goes under the 2 o'clock position nut which secures the rearend center section to the axle housing. They all have the 3.36 and 3.55 discs reversed. I have contacted several of the vendors over the years, WITHOUT SUCCESS, trying to get them to change this error in their catalogs. One told me that until some sort of official notification was provided from NCRS, CCI, etc, there would not be any change.
I have included a link to the correct labeling of these discs in case anyone wishes to attempt to get the vendors to change the illustration in their catalogs.

HI Tom, Nice job on the metal tags. My buddy Dave and I were talking about these tags the other day. John

        Roy,
If you will notice, there isn't even any data shown for the 3.36 ratio.
I admit, I HAVE NOT examined every car (pass & Vette) that Chev produced which had 3.36 rearends (and 3.36 rears were VERY common), but I HAVE examined many cars, INCLUDING some with UNtouched rears with 3.36 gears and all of the cars with 3.36 gears that I've seen or removed from salvage yards, plus some 62 Vettes with virgin rears with 3.36 gears, had the disc with ONLY ONE HOLE for attachment (as shown in the chart for the 3.55). And the 3.55 discs I've seen had 2 holes.
Thus, I'm firmly convinced that ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the catalogs have the 3.36 and 3.55 rearend disc information reversed. The others are correct.
        I'm done.

          Re: Rearend ratio "tom"

What ever happened is up in the air, I just wrote what Noland gave me , it up to others to determine.
