1. The upper fan shrouds on a '62 are attached to the radiator core support with 6 bolts (3 per side). Are there captive nuts welded to the inside of the core support to capture these bolts? Or, do you have to have exceptionally long and skinny fingers to put nuts on them?
2. What's the difference(s) between 58-60 Corvette radiator core supports and the 61-62s?
I cannot answer specifically about a 62 but my 57 has captive (welded) nuts on the core support. You would need very long skinny fingers indeed to hold nuts for the bottom bolts.
