Some years ago I read about a close match for hubcap paint. It is hard to find in stores but when applied looked very close. It has passed flight judging twice. It is Seymour Alumi-Match. Medium Bronze MB-40 and stock number 16-50. I want to re-do a set of hubcaps and was hoping NAPA paint would be more available.
I've seen on the discussion board and the archives, the recommendation to use NAPA Cast Iron spray paint. Can anyone tell me the NAPA stock number? I bought a can of Iron/Block Cast #7250. It is NAPA/Martin Senour spray paint. I tested it on a spare hubcap along side of a spray paint I previously used. It was night and day. The NAPA #7250 was very light and not a darker gray. Any help appreciated. Thank You
