Car is 66 427/390. I'd like to install new points and condenser. Can anyone tell me part numbers to ask for? Are Small Block and Big Block part numbers the same? Thanks.

Re: C2 Points & Condenser.
What's the most convenient brand for you to buy? NAPA? BWD? Niehoff? Standard/Bluestreak? Delco?
They're all the same parts - made by Standard Motor Products - just different marketing channels.
Also, what is the tach redline?
All single point V-8 distributors use the same family of parts. The redline determines whether the 19-23 oz. or 28-32 oz. breaker arm tension points should be used, but Delco no longer offers the 28-32 oz. points.

Re: C2 Points & Condenser.
The old Delco points were the D112P however, these are only available on eBay for big dollars today and other individual sellers, not in stores.
Delco recommends the standard D-106x where x is either P or PS. However, this is the lightweight standard points and can bounce on high RPM usage.
Borg Warner makes the A112 HP which is the high RPM points set.
Blue Streak is another. I believe the number is DR-2371XP.
NAPA points are CS7860.
Most part stores will get you points, without an issue, however, many in this computerized age have reduced to one choice per model or make, so that there are few high performance options. The chains are the worse.- Top

Re: C2 Points & Condenser.
The NAPA 28-32 oz. point set is CS89, not CS7860. This seems to be a common misunderstanding.
It makes absolutely no sense pay big bucks for a NOS set of Delco D112P, when you can buy the functional equivalent in the other brand names for a reasonable price.
As I said previously, ALL these points are made by Standard Motor Products, and the different brands have different marketing channels. Delco buys most of their vintage ignition parts from Standard, but AFAIK they do not offer the 28-32 oz. point set under a Delco part number.
