Might this be a dealer taking delivery of all the unsold cars at the end of the model year?

Both are great photos. Mine may be in there somewhere too!......I counted about 75-80 cars in the photos.
Hmmm, Based on the attire(jacket and gloves)of the woman in the first photo, I was thinking it may have been the early fall(late September) or springtime. It seems all/most cars are hardtop optioned. Since only 409 cars were made in Sep 58(at about 19.5 a day), it appears it wasn't "day one" production. Maybe it was "week one" production, and the keys were going to the shipping manager to get them loaded on the car carriers.
It would be great to know what the real story is.
