This is Mr. R.E.Rundell (St Louis Plant Manager)handing the keys to what I figure is the LUCKEST guy in 1959. I have know idia why, what for or the date?

Both are great photos. Mine may be in there somewhere too!......I counted about 75-80 cars in the photos.
Hmmm, Based on the attire(jacket and gloves)of the woman in the first photo, I was thinking it may have been the early fall(late September) or springtime. It seems all/most cars are hardtop optioned. Since only 409 cars were made in Sep 58(at about 19.5 a day), it appears it wasn't "day one" production. Maybe it was "week one" production, and the keys were going to the shipping manager to get them loaded on the car carriers.
