69 and 70 tach are the same ?

is an original 69 tach is the exact same for a 70 ?

my vette in L-68 69 so it as a 5600 RPM redline .. but i think it was probably changed over the years ... cause i just find out it is dated in APRIL 70 while my vette is dated in december 68

so my question is ... are they 100% alike ?

Functionally they are the same, mount the same, cable attaches the same, etc. The main difference is the redline.

70 base 5300, 70 350hp-5600, 370hp-6000. Typo in the new 4th edition

Not sure what the typo is in the new edition, haven't seen it yet, but 370 HP (LT-1) redline is 6500, not 6000.

Don't know what I was thinking. 5300,base: 6000,350HP(I have this one DUH), 6500, LT1. Typo in my brain....
