    63 SWC seats

I am getting ready to install new buns and vinyl covers (from Al Knoch), on my seat frames.
I am pretty sure of the procedure (my first attempt on any seat rebuild...).
Corvette Central sells a @ 49 instruction video.
Has anybody seen this video and is it worth it ?
Just want to cover all my bases...

if your seat covers are oriiginal(not been to bubba's trim shop) , then just disassemble your opriginals and install al's in like fashion. thata way, you'll have 49 bucks for liquid refreshments. good luck, its not a bad job. mike

Thanks, Mike. That was my original plan and I think that's what I will do.
My seats were original and I took lots of pictures when dis-assembling..Also kept the parts in their relative semi-dis-assembled state.

Rainer, I set up near Al's trailer at several shows. I have watched his men install those seat covers. I am always amazed at how much they quickly trim the buns. I video might be worth it. I had AK do my seats at a show. They came out perfect. I tell my friends not to mess with that job. But that's your business. John

What does Al Knoch charge? Are they set-up to clean the springs?

They quoted me $275.00 for installation. I was planning to have them do it at the Chicago corv/chevy show recently. That does not include repairing/painting the springs/seat assy.
I was planning on taking my seats to Chicago, have them del the seats and install. That way, I would have saved the shipping and could have observed them assembling the seats. As it was, I did not have the seats ready and didn't go.
My seats are now restored (blasted and repainted) and ready for re-assy.
