    Re: Rear Stablizer Bar

I have a 1970 ZR1 that I purchased from the original owner. It has no rear sway bar. I have also. in the past, owned another 1970 and a 1972 ZR1 neither of which had rear bars. The only ZR1 that I've ever seen that had a rear sway bar had bolts that were not consistant with factory. Just my take on the situation.

Sal, Does your ZR-1 have the frame bolts(crossmember, left and right) and the holes on the rear upper trailing arm for the rear bar brackets??

Duke: I stand corrected, I just went out to the garage and measured the rear bar. The rear bar measures 7/16. I bought the bar at Carlisle a number of years ago so I really don't know what rpo it was associated with. I have 255x60 comp ta tires installed and have found the handling to be pretty neutral. For a 1973 car it handles pretty good.
