When is the body dropped to the chassis in relation to the date on the trim tag? Before, after, length of time? Are there any books on the cronology of assembly at St. Louis? Jim

There is a very good book about the assembly process used at the St. Louis plant entilted "Birthplace of Legends". I believe I got my copy right here on the NCRS board.

Generally speaking, body drop occurred the same day or the day after the date on the trim tag.
