Re: Check Out This Auction...
This has been very well advertised for many months. One thing you can bet on, there won't be many bargains to be had, given the amount of advertising.Bill Clupper #618- Top

Re: Check Out This Auction...
They are making a big mistake by not having online video bidding at the same time. Exposes the sale to many more people. At least they have a very good catalog and the parts are sorted somewhat. If they were not and one person bought the sweep, most would not live long enough to sort it.Dick Whittington- Top

From their web site they like to sell a lot of doors per door but the high bidder can take one or all in the lot at the bid price. If you are not the high bidder it could be your last chance at a door in that lot. Most auction do this to speed things up and keep the biders interested.

Re: Check Out This Auction...
I figured it wasn't going to be one piece at a time, that would take years looking at the pictures. So this is really for the corvette buisness more so than for Joe Average. Thanks for the clarification Lyle!

If you need the part be the high bidder as the dealer will only buy what he plans to make a profit on so his price needs to be one he can mark up. It is like watching a Corvette dealer buy a car you want at auction and reading on his web site the new price up 40%. Profit is not a dirty word it makes the world go around. They have the parts grouped with like items so they may sell by the one item price and take one, two, or all in the lot. I wish I could be their but that date don't work for me.

Re: Check Out This Auction...
OK so it's not just for business then, I have no problem with profit. I'd like to go too, seems like fun. I did convince the bride to go to Barrette Jackson in West Palm Beach, not to buy, just to look (famous last words)...- Top
