    69 shock ID labels

What would be the correct two letter lable codes for the front and rear shocks for a 69 with standard suspension?

    Thank you kindly.

Thanks Joe...that's what I was afraid of...

Just last week I applied the decals that I got from paragon to my freshly painted shocks and just tonight noticed in my TIM&JG that they are wrong. I should have known better because this isn't the first time I've had issues with paragons parts!! Stupid ole me just stuck them on as per their packaging label...not much I can do now though.

Any idea on how I can remove these junk labels without hurting the paint?

Would you happen to know where I could find the correct ones?

Can new labels be applied directly on top of your newly installed labels without being noticed? Generally WD-40 will loosen labels and bumper stickers.

Thanks a bunch Paul, I'll do that!

Jim I'm not sure what WD-40 would do to the paint because I think the paint is still to fresh and it might come off too. As long as Paul's lables are the same size or even a tad larger than the wrong ones that were sold to me, placing them over top just might do the trick.

The paint should 'laugh' at the WD-40 + take on a nice bright shine to boot!

Generally alcohol will dissolve adhesive. I doubt alcohol -- in the form of the commonly available isopropyl -- would damage the paint, but testing a small less visible area (like on the rear inboard top) would be best for anything you try to use to remove the label.

                  Paul,

Come on, it's not that hard to make them perfect.

Thanks guys. Actually the labels came off with no problems and the WD-40 removed all the remaining residue too.
