The turn signals on my 1967 blink too fast. All bulbs light up so that is not the problem. In researching possible causes I came across a discussion of the original #1034 dual-filament bulb vrs the #1157; its replacement in the 1970s. Apparently the latter has more resistance, is brighter, but causes this fast condition. Is this so? If yes, where might I find the #1034 bulbs? NAPA? The flasher is Tung-Sol 323 which I believe is correct.

Re: C2 Turn Signals Too Fast - Bulbs?
The standard lamps used on Corvette changed from #1034 to #1157 in 1964. Therefore your '67 should have the 1157 lamps in it. You can confirm this by looking in your owner's manual.
I'd encourage you to double check what lamps are actually installed on your car because there are several 'improved' substitutes out there for the 1157 lamp which have different filament characteristics.
As far as the second part of the question (where can I get 1034 lamps?) which is now a moot point in this thread, there's so little call for them today because of the different drop-in substitutes that are actually brighter that few auto parts stores keep them in inventory. But, they're still made (Wagner is one source) and most stores, like NAPA, can order them from the local warehouse and have them either the same or next day.
Last, when you see a blink rate that's obviously 'off'...start by walking around the car and making sure all the lamps are actually flashing. One of the reasons for using lamp load specific flashers (vs. variable load flashers like those used in the emergency flasher circuit) was to give the driver a visual warning of a burned out lamp!- Top
