I read in the Jan/07 issue of 'Corvette Enthusiast' that Scott Kohn from Corvette Central is now producing/selling weather stripping for 68-77 Corvettes, made as the original GM weather stripping (closed-cell foam which is soft and easily conforms to the windows). As opposed to the present day aftermarket weatherstripping which is made from dense rubber which won't seal properly and let the windows roll freely at the same time. Has anyone purhcased and installed this new foam-cell weatherstripping from Corvette Central? If you have I would be interested to hear your comments?
Thanks
Wes
Can't contribute to your question but while we are on the thread, vendors also advertise OEM "Latex" weatherstripe. I'm curious what the difference is there and if its the same thing you're describing.
