Does anyone have any info about attaching the trunk irons on a '58. I have a set that has never been on the car. They came with some threaded (on one end) studs. Did they use speed nuts and a big washer?
Any ideas out there? Thanks. Chuck
In the late 80's I had a 58 and from what i remember the irons were held by speed nuts, no washers. When I sold the car I gave the new owner my judgeing sheets - but I think I would remember getting docked points and then doing a simple fix to correct. But at times I am at a loss to remember last week, Good luck.
