63 headlights

Are the correct headlights still available, or are the ones sold thru Paragon ETC correct ?
Mine are of (2) different style and I am not sure, if any of the (4) are original. What should I be looking for when purchasing replacements ?
I am finally starting to put things back on the car after getting it back from painter. (2nd. paint job turned out perfect, after a disaster 1st one...)

Rainer -

Original T-3's (that work, or are likely to keep working) are hard to find, fail regularly, and are about as effective for night driving as kerosene lanterns. The reproductions are modern, reliable, you can see with them at night, and there's only a 3-point deduction for a full set. I take the deduction and don't worry about driving at night. Others' opinions may vary.

It's the same old story about some of these parts. Use the repros and get a 3 point ding. Use originals that are not perfect and still get a ding. My 63 has 3 mint bulbs and one that is a tad cloudy on top so I got a one point ding. I agree with John for sure. Those old T3's sure are dim and only for show. I felt sorry for a C 3 owner at Marlborough. He was going thru ops and I watched as one of his headlights really turned dark black and burnt out. Ken Hanna's repro bulbs are the only way to go. We are lucky Ken put a fortune into the project. John D.
