60-61 front bumper differences?

Could anyone expain the differences between 60 and 61 front bumpers? I have an unknown set and have tried matching them up with both a 60 and a 61 center grille bar... didn't seem to match up well with either.... any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Andy

Are there any numbers stamped on the inside? They were different part numbers I know, but can't help you as for what that difference was. The 58-60 were part numbers left 3739385 and right 3739386. The 61-62 were left 3782291 and right 3782292. Hopefully some one can tell us the difference.

The mounting bracket on the inner portion of the bumper (to which the grille bar mounts) is deeper into the bumper (closer to the face) on a 61-62 than it is on a 58-60 because the 61-2 only had the bar--the 58-60 had greater depth because it had the bar and the teeth attached to the bar.
There are no part numbers stamped, cast, etched, or imagined in the bumpers for ID purposes from GM.
