OK, I give up. Is there a way to know if there are new messages on an old post without scrolling until your eyes pop out?

No...It gets even more interesting after your scheduled cookie clean-up changes all the "read" posts back to yellow.

Go to 'set preferences' at the top of the page and choose how many day's worth of new messages you want to see. That's about as good as it gets.

Try this, go to "Set preferences"

Settings;

List Style --> Compressed List
Display -----> Guestbook
Sort Order -> UBB Order

Use Frames --> set to "NO"

If you want to know if there are responses to a specific post, just check the box at the bottom of the screen where you compose your post that says "If you'd like e-mail notification of responses, please check this box". When anyone responds to that thread, the robot will send you an e-mail message to let you know.

Erv, you can do a search under your name and you should find all posts you have made. Depending on the specific date of the post of interest to you, you may have to search the archives.
