            Re: Corvette Work

            Geoffrey -

Not a lot of people (other than the drivers, who loved it) noticed that both Corvettes had air-conditioning; the ACO (sanctioning body for LeMans) will require this year that all closed cars have A/C, and Sebring was the first endurance test of the C6-R A/C system. This new regulation is a result of several drivers of closed cars suffering from heatstroke/heat exhaustion due to the extremely warm ambient temperature at the 2005 LeMans race.

              Loren's Ethanol Ration

They claimed a Green race this year because of the ethanol blend. Rest assured, amongst my 100,000 close race fans, there was plently of ethanol being blended.

                Geoffrey,
Did Mrs. Dr. Rebuild get to go along? The young woman in the last photo resembles your catalogue pusher from Carlisle. I enjoyed your pictures and commentary as I usually do.
                Regards,
                Alan
