I know that the 84-85 manual is being worked on now. These take time to write, but if there's anyone that can do it ,it's Gordon Killabrew. There is no schedualed deadline that I know of....But it shouldn't be to long. Bob

The target date is March of 2001. We may not make it but that is the target and as of now we feel like we are on schedule.

        Re: 1985 Eligibility

Thanks for the info. I am very anxious to have my car judged, as I own what I consider to be a "benchmark" car ( there are a lot of exceptional C4's out there, as I have seen from my travels on the show circuit in the NY-NJ-CT area).

I am the original owner, and the car is untouched. I also have all paperwork, tags, stickers, cards, etc. that came with the car. If I can be of any help to you and your team, please let me know.

By the way, what does " *TL* " mean in your I.D. header on the discussion board?

        Thanks.

        Joe

          Re: *TL*

Joe, TL means we are "officers" (volunteer or otherwise) of the organization. This is explained on the opening page of the board, below the legalese disclaimer.

FYI: The term "Benchmark" belongs to Bloomington Gold. To get that award you will have to go to the cornfields of Illinois the last weekend of June. They will judge 1985 Corvettes for that award in 2005. Car has to be 20 years old.

NCRS judges cars for originality in the Bow Tie category. Those cars too have to be 20 years old. So either way you have the same wait. Roy's comments regarding the C4 judging time frame related to NCRS Flight Judging which is open to restored or unrestored cars. The Bow Tie program is somewhat different.
