Re: are BB and SB forks the same?
Bill------
The clutch forks are the same for small block and big block, regardless of bellhousing. Fork GM #3887177 was used for all 1966-81 Corvettes. It is SERVICE for all 64-65, too.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

joe, what could be wrong?
i bolted up the trans and housing on my bench with the fork in place. when i tighten it up and check the bearing it is bound up on the input shaft. it seems like the alignment of the fork is off. should i adjust the ball stud to center it more. the bearing i bought is fit to the input shaft and slides back and forth when i just put the bearing over the shaft. any thoughts? thanks,bill- Top

Re: Sorry SteveI think the bottom photo is wrong
The bottom photo says INCORRECT MOUNTING.... Whats wrong with it? Just trying to show how it looks when incorrect. The top photo although blurry, shows a correct mount. Didn't realize the blurry photo until after I'd put things together so I couldn't retake it....- Top

Steve I guess you didnt see my second post
a couple of minutes later. When you click on the photo its larger than the frame but the photo of the whole fork fits, I didnt arrow down to and see your note of the blue box. Phil 8063- Top
