My 3959594 LT-1 intake manifold coolant passage has corroded through under the W snowflake. Looks terminal. Would like to find a reasonalbly priced replacement. Thanks.

It depends what you mean by "reasonably priced" and what you mean by "replacement".
If by "replacement" you mean another manifold that you can replace it with and maintain reasonably correct appearance without spending a bundle for an NOS or used "correct" manifold, then I would suggest an Edelbrock 2101 or 7104. You can purchase these manifolds cheap (ESPECIALLY the 2101), they will look very similar to original, and you can use a divorced choke (although, possibly, not the same stove as original).
If you want exact correctness, then you'll have to look for a 3959594 and the Driveline would be a great place to find one.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Gary, Sorry I forget what the choke set-up looks like on an LT-1, so I'm not sure what you would need. But I can tell you the Performer I put on my 78 L-48 just needed a small adapter plate that tey offer for the divorced choke. BobBob- Top

A couple of other options: The original manifold can probably be repaired and if you plan on having the car judged, a repaired original will lose fewer points than a non-OE replacement.
Another replacement option is the GMPP manifold. You can download the GMPP catalog as a pdf. Just google to get to their site.

The only available GMPP ALUMINUM manifold that will work has provisions for EGR. So, this has to be blocked off. All-in-all, I think that it's better to use an Edelbrock 2101 which has no EGR provisions than a GMPP which does.
Another option, though, would be the GM #14096011. This manifold is similar to the Z-28 manifold in CONFIGURATION. However, it's made of cast iron. I suppose one could paint it with aluminum paint, though. In fact, it might not be a bad option. It GM lists for about 240 bucks. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Choke conversion is easy. As Bob says, you can purchase the stove assembly that you need from Edelbrock. The only think that you have to do is fabricate the choke rod to connect the stove to the carburetor. It's very easy to do this. Use a piece of aluminum rod. It will bend easily and be way more than strong enough. I've done these before with no problems, at all.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top
