    Oil Pan Bolts 1965

Can anyone out there let me know for judging what head markings are acceptable for oil pan bolts on a 1965 L78 BB. Thanks.

The 1/4" bolts for both small block and big block were usually "L" or "EL". However, others may have been used and, likely, any period-correct headmarking will get you by.

The 5/16" bolts usually had a different headmarking. "RBC" and "TR" are 2 that were used. However, here, too, there were very likely others.
