In the process of completing my dream shop. Modest by most standards but none the less a seperate shop from the house. I want to apply some kind of treatment to the floor before I move everything in there. What are the options and pros / cons?
Suggest you search the archives for epoxy floor treatment. If the concrete is new, you save tremendous hours of preparation although there is prep required.

If you'll drop in at www.garagejournal.com and go to the "Flooring" section, you'll find everything you ever wanted to know (good and bad) about all the various garage floor coating options.
I agree with the other posters. I am going to do an area with Sherwin Williams solvent based epoxy. The last shop that I did I used Ameron products with great success, but I do not have a local dealer anymore.
Thanks for the links John. I like the looks of that White / Blue interior 67 I see. As you know I have one just like it. You did a fine job judgint it at Park City.
I am about to complete my garage addition build out and used Sherwin Williams epoxy and then put 2 coats of the clear top coat. Concret was fresh and has a heavy broom finish that will prevent skid. I am not a pro but was not that hard. We will see how long it lasts.
