    Re: Al Knoch

Just for the record. Once I sent Al some raw vinyl that was original off the role stuff. It was used in the production of 68 seat covers (had the original manufactures name and date just like factory stuff). I sent it to him and he pressed in the basket weave design for me and he made me seat covers. No extra cost and no screw ups. Seat covers fit perfect and are dead on 68 looking. Thank you Al!

They are probably getting ready to leave for Spring Carlisle next week. They bring a ton of stuff and install seat covers and convertible tops the whole time they are there. They will get there Sunday or Monday with big trucks so they can get in and set up. Otherwise you can't get inside for all the other vendors. About 6000 to 7000 vendors.
You won't find people who will work with you any better than Al and Dale.

They must have talked to my wife also. I have made 4 attepmts since January , to get someone to call me back no luck! I know he has the best product out there but I will buy from someone else or Corvette Central. I know some of the vendors will handle after the sale calls.I have several friends that have had the same problem!

            Re: Al Knoch

Business people who are at the top of the heap will only stay there until another customer oriented vendor provides a quality product and prompt customer service. Customers may not always be right but they are always the customer until they go somewhere else. Al has great products and he is a great guy. However, when customers have problems or questions, they want someone to interface with them to get results/satisfaction. Some vendor's fail to recognize that customer's time is just as valuable as theirs. Al may want to establish a policy where he only sells to dealers and not to the public. Then he would not have to deal with all of the questions and needs of the bothersome customers.

Once worked for a sales manager who often said that there are no new customers, just old customers that someone did not look after.

Those companys that do not answer their phones often have a self fulfilling prophecy - the phones WILL stop ringing.

IMAGINE - someone bought your product and now, wants information! The nerve! ! ! Where will it end? Next he will want it to perform as promised!
Customers can be such a pain.

I don't understand the problem you people are having with Al Knoch. I have called several times over the last two months and have talked to Dale or had him return my call everytime. Are you trying to talk to Al directly? If so ask for Dale, he takes care of customers. Just my 2 cents.
