Well it must just be a coincidence that the tag reads the same as the 63 sales jingle used in a multitude of places that year and changed to 5 in 64 when Chevelle was added.
I still respectively disagree and think its a clever use of the 1963 jungle into a license plate number, and the reason its omitted in the parts book photo and replaced with 1963 is GM parts books are not used as car sales tools.
