Help 67 Inst Bulbs ?257 flashing?

Just finishing replacing bulbs to connect up IP and all articles etc. indicate 67 has only one flashing 257 for "lights". Mine had 2 in the the "brake" warning position as well. I'm at a loss & am itching to finish up but want it right , the 63-66 cars had in the brake warning as well according to John H's article. Mine is a nov. 66 build.
    Anyone... THANKS

    Bob -

On a '67, only the "headlights" warning light used a #257 "flashing" bulb; the "brake" warning lamp used a conventional non-flashing bulb. If you had a brake system failure/pressure loss, they wanted you to know about it instantly, without waiting for the #257 bulb to warm up and start flashing. '66 and earlier only used that warning light (which was a #257) for the parking brake; they didn't have the brake system differential pressure switch.

Thanks again John. Should it be a #1445 like the high beam indicator?

You can find the correct bulb number in the owners manual. If you don't have one - let me know and I'll try and check tomorrow

The 67 headlamp motor warning lamp is a 2 candlepower....#257 bulb.

Thanks all. When going through all of my ref. books & articles, I forgot about the owners manual. I knew I had seen the Lamp Bulb Data table somewhere, but could find when I needed it. The Brake warning is a 1816 which makes much more sense than the 257 that was in it when I got it.
