I'm pretty sure the outer are argent silver.not sure about inside.

The BACK side of the steel rally wheel should be semi-gloss black, possibly with some light argent silver overspray through the slots from painting the FRONT side of the wheel. The wheel was dip-primed black, then the face was sprayed with argent silver.

Neas got some EXTRA wheels (15 X 5 1/2) with the Bark Henry '57 race car that had nothing on them in the way of primer - front or back. Our best musing so far led us to the trail that perhaps "over-the-counter" did not get treated in the same manner as wheels on the line.

Kieth - Interesting question to John's information; but what color is the paint on the inside of the rim? If that is black, it would lead to one conclusion and if is "silver" that would lead to another conclusion. Inquiring minds want to know? Pete

Pete. The inside is black but will show argent silver overspray from the painting process on the front of the wheel.

I have no Idea what color is in side of the rim. we have not dismounted any of the old tires yet.

Keith - If/when you ever do dismount the tires, let us know because that would provide some interesting information. Also, if/when you have the tires off, please be sure to check for and note the production date codes of the wheels. Pete
