    TI Distributor and Sum Machine

    I have a Sun 507 Distributor Machine and would like to test the curve on a TI distributor. Do I need an amplifier or can I connect the Sun machine leads to the distributor wires? If to the wires does it matter which ones are connected to each lead?

      You will need an amplifier made by Sun, not the amplifier from the car. I can look for the model number if that will help you.

          You will need an amplifier. There is a vendor in KY that supplies these. He often has Sun equipment for sale on eBay. I will look tomorrow when I get back in the shop for his address

              Gary, Terry, et. al. the company that manufacturers the amplifier that you need to test the T.I. and HEI distributors on the Sun machine is Paramount Distributor Co. Mark Saunders 616.878.9734
