I have come across a 71 BB that has a Mako body kit on it. How hard would it be to undo the body modifications? Are the body pieces glassed over the original pieces, or did they remove the original panels? I have not inspected the car yet as it will envolve a little traveling, and after I talked to the seller earlier today, I had pretty much written it off, but after I mulled it over, I was thinking maybe I should at least look at it.
Agree with Roger, go check it out. Most of the time the original pieces were replaced with the Sjhark pieces, but again only way to know is to check it out!

If it should happen to be a Baldwin Motion car take pictures and post them.
A friend who died last year had a Motion car that was stolen out of his shop after his death and we are still looking for it.
Is there a tag or something definate to tell it from just a body kit? Any engine parts to look at that are changed. And where would the tag be? The guy who has it, probably wont have any history or docs with it. Any ideals?
