    Delco Remy Parts Book

Anyone out there know where to find an old Delco Remy Parts and Numbers Catalog? I've looked at Manuals and Books on eBay and seen only one that started in the 40's. I'dlike to find one tht would cover "53" to the "70's".
I have a new IGN.COIL # 1115238 D512. I've tried the local Delco Parts Dealer where I live and they can't tell me what it fits. Book in hand would be great.
What Coil Numbers am I looking for are correct for a "55"?

Like most Delco coils, the GM #1115238, aka Delco D-512 has a wide range of GM applications. As far as Chevrolet goes, it's a SERVICE ignition coil applicable to most 1967-74 models. Since it's SERVICE-only, the numbers are not "correct" for any Corvette.

I believe that 1955 Corvette ORIGINALLY used a GM #1115086 coil. I'm not 100% sure, though.

Well first you'll never find a 55 coil 086 but they are repro'd for 55 Corvette.

Karl the Delco Remy book you need covers 40's thru the 80's. It is about 5"-6" thick and covers everything that DR manufactured during that era. I searched for about 3 years before I found mine. DR quit printing them several years ago.

          Thanks. Joe, Roy and Dick.
I bought a bunch of Delco Remy/AC Delco IGN. Parts at an Auction last year and the only part i'm sure of that is used in 55 and up is a D203 Condenser.
