Hi, I don't know mid-year stuff very well at all. I have a mid-year stainless distributor shield (rather nice I might add ). I want to figure out what year it belongs on. It appears to have come off a FI car because it has a two possition clip (cad plated spring steel) on the front that is in the FI postion. It also has a ground clip on the back side which is chrome plated. It has two plastic rivets on the top to hold the insulator sheet in place. Any, chance this is enough information to identify it?? I am thinking 1965 or 1964?? Thanks, Terry

Re: Help identify C2 distributor cover...
I read that thread. Mine looks like the one in that auction but my grounding tabs are all there. Any chance I could send you some pictures of it when I get a chance. If possible, email me at tfringo@aol.com and when I get off work I will try to send some picture of it and the supports. I would like to identify it if possible. I think it is a pretty nice original item. Definitely stainless. Take care, Terry- Top

Great article in Restorer - "1963-67 Corvette 327 Engine Radio Ignition Shielding Wire Shields & Routing Supports" by John Amgwert. Do not know what Vol or Year, I found on the 63/64 CD edition. Also look at Nolands Adam book, has some drawings.
To determine what year you have many details will be needed and even after verifying all of them you may still be confused, as I still am.- Top
