    C2 dash cluster labels

Is there any de-coding of the red and white label on the back of the C2 dash cluster? I have a 67 L-68 with a "LC" code the dash is dated Oct 12 1966.
    Thanks

Yes. The designation changes depending which Tach, speed warning option, and oil pressure gauge are used. "LC" is correct for your car.(NO SPEED WARNING)

I don't know the codes for the others.... saw different codes but didn't pay attention.

I also have the "LC" tag, date stamp of May 18.1967. The car is a L79 with no speed warning.

The L-79 and L-68 would be the same dash i.e., 6K redline and 60 lb oil pressure gauge as long as neither has Speed Warning
          Thank

              Re: C2 dash cluster labels - '65 L78 & L76

              isn't the 65 396 (L78) dash configuration the same as the 65 365 (L76)?

and thus, wouldn't the same cluster broadcast code (that's what these two-alpha stickers are, in effect) be used for that 6500 redline, 80 lb oil pressure gauge cluster in 65?

Does anyone have a complete list of dash configurations and codes?
                Thanks Tim

                  Mike,

Our Corvettes are very similar with three exceptions. IMSMC, your car is automatic, has speedminder and is originally from California. Mine is from Texas, is base engine, 4-speed with A/C and has a LA label in red print which to the right reads:
                  CLUSTER 6457982
                  SPEEDO 6455367-W
                  TACH. 6412222-W

                  Happy Easter,

'67 base engine, no speedminder - "LA" in red.
