Has anyone used Eastwoods Argent Silver to re-paint their wheels. I called and spoke with a tech which assured me it had the correct greenish hue. I have a 69 and need to redo the spare.

Re: Eastwod Argent Silver
I was under the impression that the Eastwood Argent Silver does not have the greenish tint for 69. I bought a can a few years ago to experiment with for my 67, and as I recall it was a very silver color with fairly high gloss. I still have that can if you want me to check it again.
To my knowledge, the only supplier who puts the green-silver Argent in a rattle can is OEM Paints (760-747-2100), product number 11025. It's expensive and I think the minimum order is 2 cans, but otherwise you will have to mix your own.- Top

Re: Eastwod Argent Silver
Erv, Joe's correct. Unless Eastwood is buying from a new supplier the can I got about two years ago was just silver paint. Not a tinge of green. THe guys like to see the 57 to 62 FI oil filler tubes greenish argent silver. I know some of you don't agree with this (either do I) but it does fly thru judging. I have bought just about every catalogs argent silver trying to get one with a tad of green. NONE so far have it.
If anyone has a source we would most certainly appreciate the info. Thanks, Yu may just have to go to your local jobber and have them mix it for you. Take an old wheel and with the PC equipment today they can match the color. Good luck, John- Top
