If you are talking about air filter, it was AC 61C, aka GM #1553454.
If you are talking about fuel filter, I believe that it was AC GF43, aka GM #854434In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 57 Passenger FI AC Filter Number
Keith, You use the initals AC which I assume is air cleaner. Could also be AC Delco. Joe gave you the correct Air cleaner element number A61 C.
The fuel filter element is the same as Corvette. AC GF-130. Both of these are difficult and big bucks to find.
If you want a cheep Air cleaner element for your pass car there are several available from NAPA-Wix. They are a little tight and you have to trim the rubber a tad. Minimal cost though. Less then $20.00 Better than paying 500 to 2 grand for an original. Several years ago at a Carlisle show there was an original blue pass car element for sale and it was over 2 grand.
NAPA FIL 2165. Even comes in blue sometimes. Hopefully it's still available. If not I know someone who has a stack of them. John- Top

John-----
The AC GF-43, aka GM #854434, was the FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY used for 1957 passenger with FI application. This included the filter assembly + element. The element, by itself as a replacement for the element included with the GF-43, was the GF-130, aka GM #854386.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: 57 Passenger FI AC Filter Number
Joee, You are right. I thought we were just talking about the element though. But it's nice that you covered the whole part. Either way knowing the element number today is of little use. I have spent eons going thru boxes of AC elements at flea markets and never find a GF-130. Take care, John- Top

Re: 57 Passenger FI AC Filter Number
John and Joe,
Thanks for the help and I am sorry I did not state I was looking for help on the air filter, but in the end I could use the information. I have in my hand a red AC "Injecto-Filter" that is carrying an AC number GF-130 the one that is in unit is a blue filter. I had a chance to get a A61C air filter but could not remember the number so that deal was passed up. John tanks for the NAPA information.- Top

John----
I'm not surprised. The GF-43 and GF-130 were applicable only to 1957-58 passenger cars and Corvettes. The GF-43 was discontinued without supercession in November, 1969 and the GF-130 was discontinued without supercession in November, 1970.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Roy, I see your put up your famous pic again. It sure is a nice one. Problem is that it's a Corvette one. Won't fit the passenger car. But it sure is a nice shade of blue. Amazing what is being reproed today. John- Top
