Sorry no picture this time, you guys have probably seen enough of them of my 67.
But I spent today preping her, and going through the ops check. Only thing I found was a sticky lock by the key on the drivers side. 10 minutes and a little WD40 on the inside door mechanism solved that.
So I'm ready to roll, 15W40 CI-4 in the crankcase, 91 gas at $3.58 per gallon,
newly restored convertible top. We'll see what 500 miles does to her.
Keep telling her that this is her 40th, so I brought along a bottle of 40 year old wine to share with my NCRS buddies. After 38 1/2 years, I just can't convince her that she still looks like she is moving when she is parked.
Taking 99S from N. Cal to Bakersfield, 58 to Barstow, I-15 to Las Vegas, on Wednesday, April 11. Maybe I'll see you on the road, or in Las Vegas.
What she doesn't know is that I have all of the tools and spares in the back to get her through most traumas (for an ops check at least).
