72 battery shut off switch?

To have your car judged you need to have a battery shut off.On a 1972 it is in a box behind the drivers seat.You must need a special switch because of lack of room and the top that closes.Can this switch be put on the neg side of post?

I have one on my 1967 as well. Brand name is WirthCo. Very solid construction.
