Re:Accesory
This is great stuff Roy. I've been up all night just to look at all your great pictures. My wife keeps calling me to go to bed but this is more fun.
The hammer was definitley a starter motor assistant. Can't figure why a slotted screwdriver though. I don't think I have any big slotted screws on my '59.... Phillips and clutch heads everywhere. Maybe it was to hold the choke open for hot starts!

Re:Accesory...Roy
Screwdriver for the plug socket, makes perfect sense......
Your accesory pics reminded me of this thing I found about 20 years ago at a antique car auction. Not Corvette specific but nostalgiac. Two lights, one that blinks the red lens, one to light up the tire changer. Retractable cig plug cord on a cloth braided wire. The back of the tag is dated 11/48.

p.s. Keep the pictures coming Roy, they're great.

Re:Accesory...Roy
I had a light something like this in a car I bought once. It had a red light and a white light, and the red light was connected to a flasher. It had a long cord with a cigarette lighter plug. It looked different than yours, but obviously for the same purpose.
I can't remember what happened to that. It was quite handy and I unfortunately used it often in my youth.- Top
