    C2 Knock off wheels

Can someone with an original set of KH knock off wheels please measure the width of a "spoke" at the top surface. Actually, I guess two numbers would be the best. One at the each end of the spoke as it looks like there get smaller as the move outward. There has been a lot of discussion lately regarding the correct dimension as compared between Corvette America, Western, and the new CorvetteUSA versions. All three of the above look different from original, but it would be nice to know what the correct/original dimension is.

    Thanks,

    Bob

    Bob,

I just measured one of mine and it appears to be 3/16", and the rib is the same width top to bottom. I also have a set of Western Wheel knock offs and they are closer to 1/4". Hope that helps.

Here is a side-by-side pic of the original KH and the Western Wheel knock off. The Western wheel is on the left with the tire mounted, and the original KH is on the right. You can see there is a slight difference in the width of the rib, with the repro being wider.

        Hi Bob,
Just measured mine,65 KO, at various spots and wheels all seem to be 0.222.

It looks like it isn't just the width, but the finish of each fin. The Western Weheel looks like they have been machined flat across each fin, where the K-H looks like they have a slight bevel to them and buffed/sanded to remove the sharp edges.

Thanks for the responses and for the great pictures. I think it validates my assumptions that the Western and Corvette America ones are a little wider than the original ones, and that the CorvetteUSA ones are a little smaller (they say that theirs measures .150. I think they all look great, and I appreciate you guys taking the time to measure them and for taking the pictures. Now I just have to decide if I want to be a little over or under with the ones I purchase. Thanks again.

Also note the difference in the outer flange area. The .150 fins are more in line with the '67 bolt-on wheel applications, contrary to most reproductions, the fin width is not the same.
