This business dissapeared. I heard from a friend tonight he saw an advertisement for them. Maybe not the original owner, but maybe the same tooling. Does anyone know how to contact them? How much? How long? Thanks DG

Re: Teak Freaks?
I am not sure about Teak Freaks, but Eric Freeman, Freeman Designs, in Charlotte, NC is doing a very accurate reproduction.
BTW, at the Lowe's Motor Speedway Regional, among other items, we will be doing a live auction of one of Eric's steering wheels. He donated it to the chapter and the proceeds will go to charity. If anyone is interested in bidding but cannot be there, we will acccept bids prior to the banquet, or by telephone. Re: Teak Freaks?
Dick, I was looking thru the latest Driveline and saw a "Teak Freaks" ad on page 84 under services. Their ad says they now own "Howard Miller Clock Co., no address, but a phone number 330-882-4606, NCRS #16001. Didn't know if you had tracked them down, so thought I'd pass this along. Regards, Pete.- Top

Re: Teak Freaks?
Yes, they purchased everything from Howard Miller. Nothing is left.
I even asked a VP there (patient of mine) to track down the original specs on the finish used on the wheels. That too is gone. So, I can assure you it's a dead end. The only thing HM has left in their files is the article from the Corvette Restorer of several years ago.
