A rare hard accessory to find is the GM dealer shaver .For you guys that are to young back in the 50's many Chevy dealers displayed on a wall the accessories you could buy for your new Chevy and each year new items were added to match the newer chevy.A gentleman shaver was one!
Lower left is a 6V for a 1952 Chevy car
Upper left is a 12V for the 55 Corvette or Car up to 57?
Right upper is a 6V for 53 to 54 Corvette or Car
Right lower is a 12V for 58 to 62? Corvette or Car= this one is not conferred and some people argue about all of them , because no one has ever took the time or interest to know about the accessory shavers.
I firmly believe from 1952 to 1962 the ones I list and mention here are correct. If some one had all year accessory books they could come up with the answer!
I have the shavers shown here in NOS in the original GM boxs.
click on lower 1955 shaver.jpg also to see some accessories I'll be showing later from the GM accessory book.
