Our Chapter judging meet was held this past weekend in the Laurentian mountains north of Montreal. What a fantastic learning experience for all who attended. On Friday evening after dinner our special, guest Al Grenning presented a workshop/tech session on engine pads assembly codes and VIN. derivatives. On Saturday Al joined in and helped some very novice NCRS members judge seven beautiful corvettes. Al's willingness to share his knowledge with our chapter members was the highlight of the meet and more than one member commented on how much they learned this weekend. We are very grateful to AL for taking time to visit with us and share his incredible wealth of knowledge with us. Al Grenning is a credit to NCRS and to the corvette hobby everywhere. And he even drove his 65 Top Flight Convertible to the event. Thanks as well to our chapter executive and meet organizers for a job well done and to Jim Wright, Angelo Finnatucci, and Scott Sinclair who attended from upstate New York and Toronto to help with the judging. With help from these and other chapter members out judging meets are getting better each year and hopefully next year more U.S. chapter members will come for a visit.

Re: Montreal Chapter Meet.
Just wanted to add our comments ...
Certainly, we agree with Rick that the Montreal Chapter Meet was a terrific learning experience and an excellent event. Mr. Grenning's knowledge, attitude and approach to the subject of "numbers" is facinating.
Sue and I also would like to thank fellow Chapter members and guest judges - with special thanks to Robert Cracower and Mike Ward ... great job !
We learned more about our own car, saw some wonderful examples of others and met some new people who are as crazy about Corvettes as we are ... is there any better way to spend a weekend? We don't think so.
