is this pontiacs 2nd attempt at the fiero or ?

has this car been thought out better than the fiero of days gone past? or just a marketing hype for sales for todays youth? not trying to be offensive but i remember when the fieros came out they were the hot ticket then fell off really hard

GM tried the do the fiero on the cheap using

chevette front suspension parts and that was the big problem with the car. the last year in production they put a decent front suspension under the car but then they cancelled it after that.

You have to remember, the original marketing was as a two-seater commuter car, not a sports car. So all it had to do was roll along and get good mileage.

It really makes you wonder what GM marketing does for brains.

It ain't no Fiero. The body structure is remarkably similar to the Corvette, it handles great and with the available turbo it screams.

My comments were about the original Fiero. GM marketed it as a two-seater commuter.
