David, You've gotta be pumped! Take it all in. Once you experience this, you can't go back, only look forward. I remember being there in a different hobby, nervous as hell, didn't sleep for days. It was worth it! It taught me much about myself, after all the work, money and BS... a really objective opinion of what you had accomplished. I didn't do too well the first couple of times out but, a goal had been established. I love challenges. Now I'm back into the Corvette thing ( after a fifteen year sabatical), and looking forward to my first show. You are about to experience something I haven't yet and I look forward to hearing from you after the show.

I am indeed pumped. I may have a little easier time than many especially those that have spent many years and $$$ to restore a car. Mine will be more of a gauge of my ability to evaluate and buy a good original that won't be restored. I hope to walk away with a bowtie sign-off and a confirmation of the condition of the car after it is flight judged. Wasn't planning to do the latter but everyone has told me it would be wise to do, so here I go. I'll have fun regardless, that I am sure. I'll post the outcome. David
