67 front shock washers

    67 front shock washers

    What is the outside diameter of the front shock absorber washer located on top of the A- arm? Mine is 1 7/8 in. It looks too big to be correct.

      1 7/8" it is. Still available from the General. You have been looking at too many replacement washers

              Randy, Go to the archives for sure. Probably several hundred posts on this subject. Hope they don't appear again for sure. Your "big" washers are readily available as Dickie said and cheep. John

                      Yup, same for '66 - the "coolie hat" retainer/washer is GM #3790342 and is still available; $3.80 list, $2.85 trade. Don't pay the guys on eBay $20 each who buy them from their Chevy dealer.
