Today is the day!! Finaly. I am soooo excited. Today I get to drop my 88 off at the shop. We are doing, paint (white), some body, new seats (black leather), and almost the whole interior (black) back to original specs. I still need 1 rim. Anyone got an extra set?? Take a look. http://www.myspace.com/citrino

Re: 88 Restoration
Nice ride! I sure like the white. Hard to believe that a 88 is almost 20 years old!
I wish I could say we're going to the paint shop with my 62. Long way to go before that for me.
Good Luck,

Re: 88 Restoration
TY Rich! Yes My dad already had most of the new parts sitting in the back of the car ready to go to paint. He just never got around to putting it in the shop to be done. When I inherited it all I still needed to do was to diagnose an electrical prob, put in a new master cylinder, and buy some new leather seats.
It took me 4 months to find a restore guy (hard to find in rural Montana) I could trust to do the work.
Will post new pics when finished plus some more before photos as well.
I really need a set of rims like ones in Pic. I have 3 Factory and one odd one that is close but won't fit center cap. So I someone only has 1 to get rid of PLEASE let me know. Will buy complete set as well.- Top

Re: 88 Restoration
Check CorvetteForum.com and eBay for the rim. Obtain the part number and put a search in eBay. That's how I've been finding interesting eBay stuff.- Top
